The Butterfly Effect
The Butterfly Effect is a non profit started by Lance and Katrina Osborne after having a special needs child with two genetic syndromes and learning that the expense of genetic testing can make a diagnosis unattainable for some families. Together, with Arkansas Children’s Hospital, a fund has been created in the genetics department that can assist families in the payment of these very expensive tests, thus helping give answers that they may never have received otherwise, and helping medical personnel to better treat them.
We are holding The Butterfly Effect Family Fun Walk/Run on Sunday, October 16, 2016, 4:00-6:00pm, at FUMC in downtown Springdale. This will be an inclusion event for kids of ALL abilities in the spirit of kindness, acceptance, and love! We are partnering with community businesses and special needs resources to create a fun evening of games, hot dogs, cotton candy, and lots of fun!
